The proprietor has requested, and has been furnished with, technical information regarding Web 2.0 compliance, and is as of this date, Web 2.0 compliant and active. The proprietor further reports difficulty with a number of out-sources experiencing the inability to load the site data in either a reasonable amount of time, or producing “freeze-ups”.
Examination per proprietor’s request reveals more than adequate technological ability to both produce and utilize the daily high volume output of this site. Analysis shows, however, that the high level of input being utilized at the home source in Web 2.0 configuration; will produce buffer overflows from some intended users.
This will typically be the case when the visiting party is employing a low range memory equipped, outmoded processor, older machine and most out-of-the-box laptop computers. This will become an increasing problem for many as Web 2.0 applications move in the realm of becoming the norm.
Careful usage and balance are the only cautions that can be issued at this time although promising algorithms, now in testing, will alleviate much of the current aggravation in new compression and streaming modes. It would be current holding that such applications are only transitional stop gap measures as a new generation of processors, Web 2.0 dedicated, may obsolete many machines in current usage or limit their access to increasingly sophisticated Web 2.0 based sites.
This report finds further that this proprietor is an active participant in the development of Web 2.0 application, primarily in the development of three hundred (300) Web 2.0 informational link “Widgets”. We note most recently that the proprietor has authored three (3) streaming “Gadgets”.
This proprietor must evaluate the sudden increase of linkage to the site that has been promoted by those efforts. We have undertaken only a most cursory survey of the impact and find in the top ranked one hundred (100) “Widget” developed adoptions, linkage and associations of a high of (5,265), to a low of (3,691). This is exemplary performance given a less than thirty (30) time elapse.
We note also that this proprietor has undertaken steps to mitigate some of the flow problems that have been reported. This process should receive continued attention as this proprietor has fashioned a significantly powerful and complicated, albeit proper and of sound logic flow, linkage of blogs.
